Who we are
This website is run by the Olveston Community Hub. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@olvestoncommunityhub.org.uk.
Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us through the contact form on this site:
- Contact form – your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
We don’t ask for, and you shouldn’t send, sensitive information such as health or financial details.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To deal with bookings, sponsorship and feedback you’ve asked us about.
We use your information because you’ve asked us to respond to you (legitimate interests). We never sell it or use it for marketing without your permission.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and stores form messages securely on our behalf.
- Clubs – each club’s Contact button takes you to the club’s own website, which has its own privacy policy.
- Google – our events list comes from our public Google Calendar. The website fetches it on its own server, so your browser doesn’t connect to Google.
Links to sponsors, clubs and the facility booking system take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and delete them within 12 months.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site does not currently set any cookies. We remember your cookie choice in your browser’s storage so we don’t ask you again.
If we add optional cookies in future (for example, to measure how many people visit), they will only be used if you select Accept. If you select Decline, they will not be set. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- see the information we hold about you
- correct it if it’s wrong
- delete it
- stop or limit how we use it
Email hello@olvestoncommunityhub.org.uk to make a request. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
